As the children of Sai, the Sai Youth of Australia are truly blessed to have this opportunity to gather at the Heaven on Earth, the home of our beloved Sri Sathya Sai Baba in July 2011 with the aim of embracing what His divine love has wrought on each and every one of us in its myriad of forms during the course of the pilgrimage.

Sri Sathya Sai Baba has often stated that 'My life is my message' and to 'Love all and serve all'. Our hope for this pilgrimage is that these two key divine principles will become saturated within the very core and essence of each youth so that they may grow in their spirituality and come to manifest these principles of love and service increasingly and continually in their daily lives, thereby allowing their very lives to be a message of the divine teachings and values of Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

The focus of the pilgrimage that youth are undertaking the pilgrimage are:

1. To promote Love, in thought, word and deed as the cornerstone of all Parthi Pilgrimage activities.
2. To embrace the Spiritual Discipline Plan and general disciplines highlighted for the Pilgrimage in daily life through awareness and practice.
3. To advance and foster a deeper understanding of Sri Sathya Sai Baba's Spiritual teachings, especially the five human values and their application in everyday life.

The purpose of this pilgrimage is two fold:

1. For the Sai Youth of Australia to UNITE in the practical application of our beloved Sai's teachings by undertaking service in Australia, exploring their spirituality with the guidance of experienced youth and growing in their love for Sai more and more each day.

This will be followed by a journey to experience the Divine formless presence of Sai in the Abode of Peace.

Importantly, the pilgrimage will continue for a further two months after we return to our home states to allow youth to put into place the means for sustainable and tangible outcomes from their experience in the formless presence of our beloved Sai. This critically important element of post-pilgrimage spirituality is often overlooked by devotees worldwide.

Parthi Pilgrimage 2011 will be a beautiful journey of love that will definitely be memorable to all those involved. Let our divine journey begin!!!
