A notable feature of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba's mission to reverse the decline of dharma and restore mankind to the paths of blessedness, is the giving of divine discourses. It is noteworthy that Bhagavan told his biographer, Sri Kasturi, that Lord Rama had given many talks to large crowds of citizens.

Fourteen divine discourses comprise this book, commencing with the traditional New Year Day discourse and concluding with an address to students at Whitefield on Character and education.
