Book Notes
Sunrays for Mondays
Anyone who has read Chinna Katha will be aware of the master storyteller that Sathya Sai Baba is. With a few words, the reader is taken into a whole world, where the true goal of life is illustrated.
Swami's skill in storytelling illustrates just how difficult the art of storytelling actually is. However, devotee husband and wife, Priya and Sanjay Tandon have been at work for several years collecting stories that illustrate morals and the purpose of life, love, and learning to navigate the path of life. Previously, they published Sunrays for Sundays which was well received with wide-spread recognition.
This current volume follows on from where the previous publication left off; Sunrays for Sundays provided food for reflection for every Sunday. This collection inspires each read to share a story with his or her family every Monday, whether at the dining table or elsewhere and provide an inspirational thought.
Simple read-aloud stories, many of which have a moral comment at the end, I enjoyed the frog-race, and the following story about the boys birthday.
52 stories, each with an illustration, over 214 pages.
