NATIONAL SAI EDUCATION RETREAT
- 10th to 12th AUGUST 2007

The Institute of Sathya Sai Education (ISSE) and the Education Wing are jointly hosting a Retreat for all Sai Educators in Australia. Current teachers of SSE, Professional Teachers in the Sathya Sai School and U-Turn Training School, the staff of the Institute of Sathya Sai Education and potential teachers of EHV and SSE are invited to attend this retreat.

The retreat will be held in Canberra from 10th to 12th August 2007. The last retreat of this kind was held in 1993 and with the recent global review of Sathya Sai Education, all Sai Educators in Australia would benefit immensely by attending this Education Retreat.

This retreat will also be a prelude to the World Education Conference to be held in Prasanthi Nilayam in November 2007.

If there is sufficient interest, ISSE Australia would organize a workshop after the Retreat on Creative Teaching Techniques and Lesson Plan Design.

Nena would liaise with Dr Pal Dhall, Director ISSE Australia and Mrs Padma Ayyagari, National Education Wing Coordinator in finalizing arrangements for this retreat. The registration form and other details for this Retreat would be circulated through Chair Central Council in the coming weeks.

The main aims of the Retreat are:

• To inspire, motivate and reorient all Teacher Trainers, Educators and SSE Teachers towards a new vision of unified, harmonized and consolidated Sathya Sai Education
• To share and discuss "Global Review of Sathya Sai Education". This Compilation has been blessed by Bhagavan and will be released at the Guru Poorinima Celebrations in July '07.
• To update the delegates on the Australian Strategic Education Plan for the next 5-10 years.
• To initiate a Group 4 in the SSE Program
• To initiate a Certificate of Training Program in SSE Training.
• To share some ongoing research and development in Sathya Sai Education in the ISSE.
